Pusateri’s Fine Foods celebrated its 25th anniversary this past December.
If you haven’t been, it’s a mecca of fine food ingredients. They carry everything from intriguing prepared items to indulgent pantry goods. Pusateri’s is also known for out-of-this-world gourmet goodies such as their chocolate truffle trees.
If you are looking for artisan ingredients and sensations, or perhaps just a little inspiration for what to make for dinner, take a trip to Pusateri’s. They have 3 locations: Avenue Road & Lawrence (1539 Avenue Road), Yorkville (57 Yorkville Avenue) and Bayview Village (2901 Bayview Avenue).
The picture above illustrates just some of their phenomenal items available, but you’ve really got to see the place in person to get a feel for what they do. Like their deli, for instance. The one at Bayview Village is just stunning.
Sometimes I fantasize that I get locked in the store overnight and I can make anything I want out of all of the ingredients.
Yeah, it’s one of those kinds of places. Go and have a look and then tell me what you get!
I went to the Avenue Rd location of Pusateri’s this past weekend and was shocked! I had heard such good things and it had good reviews on YELP! but the customer service was horrific in the pastry and the macarons tasted stale and gross. The dates on the yogurt I bought were past due by 4 days and the produce aisle where the lettuce is was so slippery, I slid forward (and I wore sensible shoes). I had good customer service in the Deli and loved the wide array of organic meat but I wouldn’t return!!!
